Dear Parents Carers,

The children have had a lovely time this week, learning about the celebrations of Eid and Easter. We had visits from Imam Mubeen and Father Neil in assembly who helped the children understand these celebrations and they have all taken part in lots of activities linked to these themes.

On Wednesday, Year 4 had a fantastic trip to The World Museum in Liverpool, linked to their learning in history. The children had a great time and were fantastic ambassadors for Buckshaw!

Today we said goodbye to Miss Crowder and Mrs Rothwell, who are both expecting babies in the next few weeks! We sent them on their way with lots of love and best wishes from everyone at     Buckshaw and I hope to share their exciting news with you very soon!

This afternoon, we finished the term off with a very exciting visit from the Easter Bunny, who left little eggs everywhere for us to enjoy a whole school Easter egg hunt. The bunny himself even took part!

Wishing all our families a safe and enjoyable break over the next two weeks. We look forward to   welcoming you all back on Tuesday 22nd April.
