I'm John McAndrew, and I have lived in Astley Village for around 45 years. I am married to Jacqueline, and we have three children, all of whom attended Buckshaw Primary. We also have six grandchildren, two of whom live in Chorley, two in Middleton, and two in Brussels. I spent my last 28 years of employment at Astley Park School, Chorley: twelve as Deputy and sixteen as Headteacher, and have been retired since 2009.
